Judgment Brings Blessing

by John Stembridgestmbgmug.jpg (13850 bytes)

In Jeremiah 30:11 God says, "...I will make a full end of all nations where I have scattered thee" - Israel or the Jewish people.

This means that America, Canada, Russia, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, and every nation where Israel is scattered today, God will bring to a full end [of them as they are known now].

BUT FIRST:

The leaders and people of these nations and islands must be warned of God’s impending judgments unless present day Israel is allowed to be regathered to the land that God has given them for an inheritance forever.

Before God would judge and destroy Egypt for Israel’s deliverance, God’s mercy demanded that He give Pharaoh a chance to repent. Therefore He had to send Moses to Pharaoh with God’s message. After Pharaoh refused to repent, God’s judgment was free to destroy Pharaoh and his army.

So today, before God destroys America and every nation where the Jewish people are scattered, His servants must go to the leaders of every island and nation with this message. When these leaders refuse, as Pharaoh, then God will be free to destroy those nations and islands.

In fact, not only the nations and islands where Israel is scattered will be overthrown, the present secular government of Israel God will also overthrow and replace it by a Theocracy, not a democracy. A Theocratic government is one that is governed by the law of God.

"...David My servant shall be their King and they shall have one Shepherd: they shall also walk in My statutes and do them" (Jeremiah 2:21).

Psalm 2 speaks clearly on the subject. His "rod of iron" (in judgment) is happiness-producing laws for living.

This means that there will be no secular person in Israel or any other nation on the earth during the Messianic Age who will not bow to God and live obediently under His judgments and statutes. All rebels, the proud, arrogant, blasphemers, immoral, self proclaimed gods will be destroyed in the twinkling of an eye at the coming of the Messiah.

Isaiah 66:15-18 says: "For behold, the LORD will come with fire and with His chariots, like a whirlwind, to render His anger with fury, and His rebuke with flames of fire. For by fire and by His sword will the Lord plead with all flesh: and the slain of the Lord will be many. They that sanctify themselves and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine’s flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse shall be consumed together, saith the Lord. For I know their works and their thoughts."

(V. 24) "And they shall go forth and look upon the carcasses of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh."

Jeremiah 30:23-24 confirms this judgment upon the corrupt and wicked rulers and governments of our day: "Behold, the whirlwind of the Lord goeth forth with fury, a continuing whirlwind: it shall fall with pain upon the head of the wicked. The fierce anger of the Lord shall not return, until He have done it, and until He have performed the intents of His heart in the latter days ye shall consider it."

Holiness: God’s Purpose

God’s purpose is to have a holy people living in a holy earth, heavens and universe under His rule and authority. Whoever, like Pharaoh or Haman, refuses to humble himself and bow to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel will be destroyed!

In Isaiah 2:17-21, God says: "And the loftiness of man shall be brought down, and the haughtiness of men shall be made low: and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day. And the idols He shall utterly abolish. And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of His majesty, when He ariseth to shake terribly the earth. In that day a man shall cast his idols of silver and his idols of gold, which they made each one for himself to worship, to the moles and to the bats. To go into the clefts of he rocks, and into the tops of the ragged rocks, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of His majesty, when He ariseth to shake terribly the earth."

Think of the banks in Switzerland and throughout the world that are holding the wealth of dictators, the Mafia, drug lords, crooked businessmen that have bribed the judges, lawyers and politicians in order to fleece the masses with their schemes. This blood money will do them no good at the appearing of this holy God. They never had time or refused to take time to make peace with their Creator. They had time to study and to create their schemes to defraud their fellow human beings, but they never had time to study God’s Holy Scriptures to learn of His requirements of them. Solomon offered 10,000 bullocks to this holy God when he dedicated the Temple. What will our generation do in order to make peace with God? The time for repentance is drawing rapidly to end. Will we take heed while there is time?

God’s United Nations

Another interesting event takes place when God arises to shake mightily the earth in this hour:

In Isaiah 2:2-4, God says: "And it shall come to pass in the last days that the mountain of the LORD’s House shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow into it.

"And many people shall go and say, ‘Come ye, and let us go up to the Mountain of the LORD, to the House of the God of Jacob; and He will teach us His ways, and we will walk in His paths; for out of Zion shall go forth the Law and the Word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

"And He shall judge among nations, and shall rebuke many people; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more."

Isn’t it shameful that it will be necessary for God to rebuke many people and to destroy many nations before our generation will humble itself and bow to Him alone?

In studying the Scriptures about the end of this age of evil and the beginning of the Messianic Age of Justice and Peace, God has given me a Global Bill of Rights which I believe is a small glimpse of what the Messianic Age will be like. This Global Bill of Rights seeks to unite Jews, Arabs and Gentiles who have already turned their weapons of death and destruction into tools for the good of all men and for the universe.

This document is included here for your awareness and hopefully for your involvement in seeing that they are implemented throughout the Middle East and the World - this year!

Global Bill Of Rights

Seeking to Unite all people who are:

I. Committed to building bridges of love and understanding between Jews, Arabs and Gentiles throughout the world.

II. Committed to building up the Middle East and the world with Justice, Peace Freedom, Health, Education and prosperity for all.

III. Committed to eliminating ignorance, hunger, poverty, bigotry, prejudice and discrimination against all colors, languages and ethic groups of the world.

IV. Committed to establishing the Bill of Rights (respect and dignity) for all who are still living under the heel of oppression anywhere in the world.

V. Committed to open borders and free trade throughout the world.

VI. Committed to full integration of the Middle East and the world: granting every Jew, Arab and Gentile the right to live, study and work where they choose; as long as each respects the life and property of every other person on the earth.

VII. Committed to the reconciliation of all of Adam’s descendants, whether Jewish, Arab or Gentile, through grace, mercy, truth and love.

VIII. Committed to using the world’s finances and militaries to eliminate famine, drought, hunger, poverty, injustice and oppression from the earth.

IX. Committed to turning weapons of war, death and destruction into equipment for clean air, water, agriculture and animal husbandry for the economical feeding of the masses.

X. Committed to establishing communications and transportation systems that reach the remotest areas of the earth.

Where Are God’s Partners?

So many of my Jewish and Christian friends are waiting for the Messiah to come and do all these things for them. Maybe God is waiting for a generation that will unite and partner with Him in establishing His Justice and peace for all. How can we keep silent whenever any Jew, Arab or Gentile, irrespective of color or language is persecuted or oppressed anywhere upon the earth? Hopefully because you are taking the time to read this, ou are one preordained by God to become active in helping to implement these principles of the Messianic Age for a secular generation.

Have you ever asked yourself why God would give these Scriptures detailing the end of this age of evil and the beginning of the Messianic Age of Justice and Peace - IF - He did not want you and me to become His partners in bringing it to fruition? I pray that not only you, but also your family, friends and loved ones will be among the latter. This is truly laying up treasures in the Kingdom just ahead.

Jeremiah’s Conclusion

For all of the above to happen, Jeremiah reminds us that it will never come to fruition as long as Israel, the Jewish people are scattered throughout the Americas and the four corners of the earth. That’s where Jeremiah says that we have a role to play.

Through Jeremiah, God tells of us this day and time when His watchmen will go throughout the nations where the Jewish people are scattered crying: "Arise ye, and let us go up to Zion unto the Lord our God" (Jeremiah 31:6).

In verse 7, God says this cry must be shouted among the chief of nations. That it must be published and praised among the chief of nations, saying: "O LORD, save thy people, the remnant of Israel."

Which are the chief of nations today? Wouldn’t they include the Americas where approximately nine million Jewish people live? Russia, where over two million still live? And the other two million scattered throughout the rest of the world? Maybe you should say with Isaiah "Heneni" - "Here am I, Lord, send me." God is raising up an army of watchmen who are already going to the nations with this message from God.

God spoke through Jeremiah that:

"The time is coming, says the LORD, when I will make a new Covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah. It will not be like the covenant I made with their forefathers when I took them by the hand and let them out of Egypt. Although they broke my covenant, I was patient with them, says the Lord; I will set my law within them and write it on their hearts; I will become their God and they shall become my people. No longer need they teach one another to know the LORD; all of them, high and low alike, shall know me, says the LORD; for I will forgive their wrongdoing and remember their sin no more. These are the words of the LORD, who gave the sun for a light by day and the moon and stars for a light by night, who cleft the sea and its waves roared; the Lord of Hosts is his name: If this fixed order could vanish out of my sight, says the LORD, then the race of Israel too could cease for evermore to be a nation in my sight" (Jeremiah 31:31-36).

(Editor’s footnote: I asked Mr. Stembridge why he used the term: "Jew, Arab and Gentile" when usually just the two, "Jew and Gentile" is expressed. His reply was that since the Arabs are Abraham’s descendants and also have special promises from God, he felt they should be considered separately from the rest of the "Gentiles.")
